Welcome to the vegetable, herb, and flower U-Pick CSA at DeLano Farm! The summer season runs June to September (weather dependent). Shareholders will learn how to select and harvest their own share of herbs, vegetables, and flowers with guidance from farm staff. When you become a CSA member, there are also several opportunities to take home a bouquet of flowers from DeLano’s cut garden. Families are encouraged to bring their children, and recipes will be shared. Learn about where food comes from and harvest it at its peak!

Fall 2026 CSA registration is now open! Details below, or Register here >

About the Farm at 555 West E Avenue:

Our farm is supported by our community of CSA members. Our product isn’t individual pints of tomatoes or bunches of kale; our product is the farm itself as well as a weekly share of all that we produce. This helps guarantee farm income even on rainy days and allows us to offer a wider array of whatever vegetables and flowers are currently in season. Each week our shareholder community visits the farm at KNC‘s historic Delano Homestead to pick-up and harvest an ever-changing abundance of what’s in season. Our farmers and interns are there to help you harvest, and to answer any questions about our growing techniques. Questions? Here are the answers to the most common ones.

  • We farmers harvest small, tedious, or prickly things and leave the fun harvesting for you. This is usually a 50/50 split
  • The average shareholder spends a half hour at the farm
  • You are welcome to ask friends or family to pick-up your share when you can’t make it
  • If we must cancel due to weather, we invite you to our next scheduled pick-up
  • Extra produce is donated to Loaves and Fishes

Fall share runs six weeks in October – November.

Enjoy six weeks of DeLano Farms’ bountiful fall harvest. Your weekly pre-packaged share will be waiting for you at the Market Barn, where you’ll be greeted by our knowledgeable farm staff with recipes and tips for use and storage of your farm-fresh veggies. Limited to 45 shares.

What will be offered: Kale, spinach, lettuce, arugula, beets, turnips, onions, leeks, garlic, potatoes, winter squash, radishes, and much more!
Registration for the fall season will opens each year in July.

About the weekly shares:

  • A Full Share is designed for about four people. Shares vary in size depending on the season, from the choice of a few items in early June to more selections during the peak of the harvest in August and September.
  • A Half Share is for a single person or a couple looking to add fresh local veggies to their meals. Like our full share, it will allow shareholders to enjoy some pre-harvested items and venture into our garden to harvest others.
  • Pick up days are Tuesdays from 4-7 pm or Saturdays from 9 am – Noon. Choose your pick up time at registration.
  • Season runs June – September (weather dependent)
